Red Ribbon

The Red Ribbon Campaign is the oldest and largest drug prevention program in the nation and Red Ribbon Week is an ideal way for school communities to take a visible stand against drugs. Students are invited to participate in dress up days focused on themes related to making healthy choices.

Monday: Red Ribbon Week Kick-off – wear red (wear red to show support for drug-free communities)

Tuesday: Creating healthy habits from the inside out (wear your shirt inside out)

Wednesday: Unity Day (see below)

Thursday: Drugs do not match my life (mismatch your outfit in fun, creative ways)

Friday: Team up against drugs (wear team jerseys/shirts)

Children of parents who talk to them regularly about drugs are 42% less likely to use drugs than those who don’t.  For tips on talking to your child about drugs, visit www.redribbon.org
