Fayetteville High School AP Environmental Science students have been working on a three-year longitudinal project at McNair Middle School to remove invasive species from behind the playground and replace them with native plants. As part of the project, FHS students traveled to McNair and presented their work to the science classes. FHS students gave a brief presentation to each class, and then took the classes outside to show them the invasive plants. There are real educational benefits when students teach students!
