We wrapped up our very first Kindergarten Academy experience at Fayetteville Public Schools last week, and it was an incredible! Our rising kindergarteners enjoyed a warm, nurturing, and engaging environment filled with fun learning adventures, new friendships, and exciting discoveries.
We can't wait to welcome these bright young minds to our school family in just a few days!. Here's to the start of an amazing educational journey! 📚✨

FPS SOAR staff participated in summer professional learning with national trainer and educational consultant Denise Pratt. Denise helped equip the SOAR staff with the skills and knowledge needed to effectively support students. It was a great week of learning, and the staff are looking forward to the year ahead. Thank you, Denise, for your passion and expertise in developing healthy and effective schools and communities!
Apple Seeds, Inc. brought their “Cooking in Schools” program to Owl Creek Elementary today! Students engaged in an interactive cooking class acquiring valuable culinary skills as they prepared a delectable and nutritious snack. Students were also exposed to the significance of making healthy food choices for their overall well-being.
Fayetteville Public Schools appreciates its ongoing partnership with Apple Seeds, Inc., a local food organization dedicated to educating and engaging children in the wonders of healthy food.

Fayetteville Public Schools is hosting a Community Night of Coding event to celebrate Computer Science Education Week on Wednesday, December 6 from 5:30-7:00 pm in the FHS Cafeteria.
There will be hands-on computer science-related activities for pre-K through 12th-grade students and their families. Robots, minicomputers, games, crafts and more! Come play, make, and code with us!
October 16th - 20th is National School Bus Safety Awareness Week! This week we're joining the nationwide effort to raise awareness about the importance of school bus safety and reminding everyone to be cautious on the roads. Fayetteville High School Computer Science students held a FPS Night of Coding introducing community members of all ages to computer coding and technology basics. Participants experienced hands-on games and engaging tutorials at a variety of interactive stations with FHS students guiding the way!
